// MIX MEGAPOL – BAUER Media

CLIENT // Mix Megapol is Swedens most listened to commercial radio station. With a popular morning show running weekdays from 6-10am in Stockholm (Gry Forssell med Vänner) and a different show in Göteborg (Morrongänget) both teams have captured the listeners in the morning for more than 20 years.
PROJECT // This case above is a complete re-branding of Mix Megapol. For the past 10 years we have worked with creating new logos and visuals for all media-platforms. Weekly we develop new campaign activities on web, SoMe, SMS, print, outdoor etc.

// GARAGE CPH – Brand identity + webshop

CLIENT // GARAGE cph is an online shop + instore shop clothing concept. It is a luxury outlet where the owner Katrine buys last year collections from well know Danish and international designers/brands. All being sold at 40-70% discount.
PROJECT // addLemon was working with this project from the very beginning. Finding the name, logo, domaine-names, creating the visual design used online and instore. We are helping with creating new sub-brands again and again. See: garagecph.com

PROJECT // Fun project because we knew about the origin of the Kuglespillet from a family at Møn. We helped with the name, the domain, the logo, the game-identity, the box-design, the webshop, the SoMe-setup etc.. Talk about full-service-fun on this one.

CLIENT // RE:LOCATIONS is the first 100% digital theatre festival in Denmark. Initiated and curated by Wildtopia. The idea came to life during the Cover-19 lockdown, where all theatres were shut down. Quickly the underground began to find alternative ways to bring theatre to the public. Wildtopia found a variety of shows that were entirely written and designed to be performed digitally, so that audiences could watch the live theatre show on screen – designed for the screen.
PROJECT // Designing logo and visual identity for a brand new festival that could probably run for several years – but as a start up project has very limited funding – was the case here. The artwork reflects that creativity always finds a way, swirling in and out, AND that everything here is on screen (rectangular “screens” is in 16:9). Logo has a delicate hint to the classic theatre iconography. RE:LOCATIONS only went public on digital platforms through a website and promo via SoMe.

ACT IN PUBLIC ER ET RESULTAT AF SOCIAL KAPITAL OG PASSION

Act in Public er et streetwear brand med en livslang passion for skateboarding.

Idéen startede med inspiration fra Californien, hvor flere ældre skateboardere begyndte, at introducere egne brands og produktlinjer, for at udløse på den opsparede social kapital, som de havde samlet til bunke over flere årtier, gennem ofte en lang karriere som professionel skateboardere.

Derfor samlede jeg en række af lignende personligheder og venner fra den danske skateboard-scene, men henblik på at gøre amerikanerne kunsten efter – ud fra devisen, at hvis de kan, så kan vi også.

Derfor lancerede vi i september 2019 Act in Public, som et con-amore projekt, hvor vi producerer streetwear til alle med en passion for skateboarding, uanset alder. Projektet er tænkt til at være kompetence mæssigt selvforsynende, indenfor tøjproduktion, design, kommunikation, marketing og teknisk udvikling og er fuldfinansieret af partnere.

Alle har jobs ved siden af og Act in Public partnerkredsen består af Søren Aaby, som tidligere professionel skateboarder og administrativ tusindkunstner hos AddLemon.com, Peter van Thorn Brix og Jan Nielsen som designere, AD’ere, foto og identitet og til daglig ejere af loopassociates.com og Jacob Bøegh som teknisk Schweizerkniv fra estatemedia.dk og undertegnede som idémand, marketing og tøjproducent. I opstarten inkluderede projektet også partnerne Kim Carlsen, der skabte de første tøjkollektioner og Tobias Plass der tog en masse fede billeder og ydede en stor indsats.

Hele ‘Ambassadors of different’ idéen handlede om at understrege, at skateboardere ofte føler sig anderledes end ikke-skatere, da de bl.a. ser på byrummets muligheder for at skate og altid kigger om asfalten er fin eller grov, om der er transitioner og en række andre eksempler. Derfor symboliserer brandmarket herunder en skater der står mellem to ikke skatere og føler sig ‘upside down’

Projektet kom flot fra start med et stort launchparty med Dansk Fløde på scenen, indslag i ‘Go’ morgen Danmark’ og mere eller mindre udsolgt af hele det første drop.

Det andet drop, eller kollektion om man vil, var et co-lab med Santa Cruz Skateboards, indeholdende to skateboards og en mindre streetwear kollektion. Et kæmpe endoserment, at lande en aftale med Santa Cruz, men også en overraskelse, at trods flere opslag på Santa Cruz Instagram profil med over 1 million følgere, så var den udenlandske efterspørgsel begrænset.

Aftalen kom i stand ved at besøge Santa Cruz i California, hvor Søren Aaby tidligere i 80’erne havde været tilknyttet som professionel og hvor en ven af projektet, Frank Messmann, bosiddende i Californien, bistod os i processen. Optimismen på dette drop var ikke uden grund stor, men anerkendelse fra direktionen på Santa Cruz og at det ikke fløj højere end det gjorde, var en skuffelse. Men værre var det heller ikke. Det danske markedet tog godt imod idéen og kollektionen blev tæt på udsolgt.

Det tredje drop og hidtil seneste, er en hyldest til alle dem, der aldrig er blevet hyldet for deres indvirkning og aftryk. Èn af de største anerkendelser, som man kan opnå i skateboard-verdenen, er at få sin egen ‘graphic’, der som oftest trykkes på undersiden af et personificeret skateboard, udformet af den pågældende.

Vi udvalgte derfor tre ældre skatere, der aldrig har fået deres egen ‘graphic’ af et professionelt skateboard firma. Men de har elsket skateboarding mindst lige så meget, som dem mange egne boards og grafik. Hvilket du kan læse mere om på www.actinpublic.com

Det er i grove træk, hvor Act in Public er i dag og det kan gå mange veje. Men det er stadig et con amore projekt, omend, at vi fra tid til anden synes, at det rummer potentiale til noget større – vi får se.

Casen her nævnt som inspiration til, hvor langt at man brand mæssigt kan komme med passion, lille investering, en god idé og knofedt. Samtidig er det et eksempel på, at der er meget læring i, at selv prøve at løbe et projekt i gang fra ingenting, i stedet for at senere i livet, at ærgre sig over alt det man kunne have gjort.

En erfaring, som jeg gerne deler med andre i lignende situation.
